Yaheya Quazi is a technologist with over 18 years leadership experience in technology research, development and management. His area of expertise is Financial/Administrative systems. Yaheya is an accomplished technology leader with diverse entrepreneurial development and program management experience in cutting-edge specialized technical environments in premier academic settings, state and city as well as small startups. He is passionate about emerging technologies; leads complex projects with collaborative teams, conducts detailed analysis, and formulates innovative customer-centric solutions to be delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives and customer expectations. Yaheya is respected by colleagues, business leaders, and stakeholders alike for resiliency, resourcefulness, and an unwavering commitment to excellence and integrity.
Currently Yaheya is the Director of Administrative Computing & Systems at the University of California, Merced. Administrative Computing & Systems (ACS) manages campus wide administrative computing systems and data, including administrative cashiering, student payment, retail services, personnel/payroll, employee time reporting, purchasing, ledger and data warehouse, among others. It is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, production support and/or security of the central systems, servers and associated technical support services. ACS provides information technology leadership, delivers innovative and reliable systems and services for strategic administrative functions, and supports instruction, research and public service missions. Yaheya’s role in ACS includes developing key technology innovations to enhance systems to be used within the University and other sister campus within the University of California system.
When Yaheya is not working, he spends time with family and friends. Father of a six year old daughter, Yaheya is a bird lover. Yaheya has three siblings most are in the Technology field.
